Hello! Iām Sara Wood.
I started this list in 2017. At the time, I was working for the Office of the State Fire Marshal in Kansas. I needed to know how to analyze data, visualize it for better understanding, and then write/present findings in engaging ways.
These resources helped me learn all that and more. I am not self-taught. I am community-taught. I am deeply grateful to all the content creators for sharing their knowledge.

If you want to work with data, these are for you. The resources in this section helped me use data ethically and understand my tools better. MS Excel was an essential tool in my arsenal and a great place for those starting in data-related work.
Looking for ways to better present, educate, and even entertain? These resources made me a better writer, graphic designer, presenter, and essentially everything that happened after I finished analyzing data. They helped me understand how design leads to inclusion.
